1. Birthday celebration

We are coming to the end of the Slowfood Sugarloaf’s first year as and are delighted to invite you to a 1st Birthday celebration on 28th November 2010. Check on our blog for write- ups on the events we had this year and feel free to add any comments. Click here
The first part of the afternoon will celebrate our 1st birthday and Terra Madre Day which will be combined with an AGM which will give members a chance to voice any opinions or suggestions. An agenda will be sent before the event.
This will take place from 5 to 7pm on Sunday 28th November in Brooklodge and there is no charge for this get-together.
Terra Madre is an international network of food producers, cooks, educators and students from 150 countries who are united by a common goal of global sustainability in food. The “food communities” of Terra Madre come together biennially to share innovative solutions and time-honored traditions for keeping small-scale agriculture and sustainable food production alive and well. 2. Dinner at the Big Table
From 7pm until late
The second part of the Big Birthday Bash and Terra Madre Day will be the infamous Dinner at the Big Table. Starting of with a Bubbly reception at 7pm followed by a sumptuous selection of delicious local and organic foods put together by the talented Brooklodge chefs will be served The cost for Dinner at the Big Table is
Members €50 per person
Non-members €65 per person.
